I am going to give each month of this year a theme for two reasons:
- I am incredibly unorganized and need something to push me to keep writing
- I feel like it could be fun
I will keep writing my food reviews and posting my interviews – they wont be affected by each months theme.
This month is health month (original for January I know), what is great about this is – I am appalling at looking after myself, genuinely.
I am lazy and eat terribly, I have been a member of a gym for the past 3 months and I couldn’t tell you what the gym looks like, I will always go for the pizza over the salad and sugar is my best friend.
However it is not just going to be about physical health it will also be about mental health. A topic that is talked about more and more – but not quite enough. We are so focused on what the health industry can make us look like on the outside sometimes we forget to focus on what’s going on inside.
A lot of people will laugh at the fact that I have decided to do a health month because of everything mentioned above and genuinely if you start a conversation with me about diets I will argue to the end of the earth about how much I hate them all (they are not healthy in any way shape or form).
So, this month I have given myself challenges to do with ‘health’ – so watch this space for upcoming posts, and let me know what you think of the monthly theme ‘thing’.
