It doesn’t look impressive, but it really, really is.
Located in Chelsea Market and just off Times Square, this street food extravaganza is everything I could have wanted and more. At $3-4 a taco you are in for a treat, and as I am a greedy cow – I decided to do exactly that – treat myself.
First up I went for the Pollo Asado in a corn tortilla – delicious chicken with guac and your decision of mild, medium or hot salsa – I went for mild.
After one mouth full my eyes rolled into the back of my head, and from there I knew I was going into a dark hole of taco delight.
I went back for more, two more in fact.
Next up I went for the carne asada – deliciously soft beef which I decided to have with the medium salsa and guac – each mouthful was once again heaven.
It was at this point I realised – why are tacos so small? Why do they only last a couple of mouthfuls?
Last but not least, I ordered the adobada – shredded pork taco. Now, these my friend were everything to me – I danced a little when I started and cried a little when it ended.
I loved them all but in order of favourite – adobada, carne & pollo.
GO I TELL YOU GO.
Have you been here? What did you think?
