Easter Road isn’t usually seen as the place to go for a bite to eat, however near the top is this lovely pub. It is cosy, warm and welcome to everyone. I would say it is a good place to go for a cold beer, a chat and a hearty meal.
I had the Mexican Burger with Guacamole, Sour Cream, Salsa, Jalapenos, Salad and Sweet Potato Fries. I need to apologise for the picture for it, the food looks like a bit of a mess because I ordered it without the bun, so that is my fault, not the restaurants.
I really enjoyed this, the burger was lovely and juicy not dry at all, the salsa, sour cream and guacamole were all really nice, I had the option of normal chips or sweet potato chips, I always go for the sweet potato chips no matter where i am.
Unfortunately they forgot this and gave me the normal chips so I had to change that, but they were very apologetic and friendly!
My dad had the Macsweens of Edinburgh Haggis Pizza, with cheese and red onion, it honestly looked delicious and I had serious food envy!
I am excited to go back and to try out the rest of the menu!
