The Corinthian Club, Glasgow

My first thoughts were ‘Oooooh very nice’, the décor is elaborate and gorgeous, I loved the seating arrangements and the way the whole restaurant was set out. However my whole experience was not that enjoyable.

I should mention before anything else that my mum enjoyed everything she ordered and hers did all look lovely, I obviously just chose wrong.

On the menu it said Breaded Mozzarella sticks, so I assumed there would be more than one, there was however only one. It came with a small tomato relish. It was okay, the mozzarella was not hot, it was slightly warm and so not melted, and the tomato relish was good.

I then had the Roast Loin of Perthshire Pork with roast potatoes and root vegetables, and I didn’t enjoy it. It felt like one of those Sunday roasts you get down at the local pub for a fiver.

We then decided to share the Sticky Toffee Pudding which was lovely, but then again it is hard to get wrong..

However many people had the afternoon tea and that looked pretty good, so if there is a next time I may try that.
