Fat Buddha, Newcastle

I love the décor in here, Asian themed but elegant, however the let-down was the cheesy Christmas music.

They have a lot on their menu it all sounded lovely, for lunch you can either choose something from the two courses for 9.95 or just choose whatever you would like from the main menu.

We shared 1/4 Aromatic Duck with pancakes, cucumber, spring onion and plum sauce to start with, it was perfect for the two of us to share, it is presented very well and the duck is delicious.

I then had the Honey Chilli Chicken with egg fried rice, however this was dry and not very enjoyable.

I feel as though Fat Buddha is somewhere you want to enjoy a carry out Chinese, but not at home.

It is a shame because the restaurant is beautiful the food just isn’t quite up to scratch.
